I grew up attending a Presbyterian Church as a child but I didn’t come to know the Lord until age nineteen. Tragedy visited our family when my sister contracted a then- fatal kidney disease. She had two kidney transplants and was subsequently saved in the hospital when she was 17 years old. She told me the Good News and five years later I was born again.
I immediately got involved with the Christian organization the Navigators, for three years. I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and came to Denver to attend seminary. I graduated three years later with a Masters of Divinity degree.
I worked for several years part-time at Corona Presbyterian Church on Capitol Hill in Denver. I began doing open-air evangelism 37 years ago. In 1986 I formed an independent ministry emphasizing evangelism.
Later in 1986 we formed a house church. By God’s grace we have won hundreds to Christ and handed out more than 400,000 salvation tracts. We are currently feeding the hungry and clothing the poor. My wife and I have three wonderful children.
